How are Armoir suitcases made?

Creating a top-tier suitcase is a meticulous process. Our suitcases, designed in France, embody our commitment to quality and sustainability. We use aerospace-grade polycarbonate for our hard shells to ensure they can endure the toughest travel conditions. Each piece is rigorously tested for durability, and we reinforce the structure with high-grade aluminum corners and frames for added strength and a polished look.

Our manufacturing partners are dedicated to environmental responsibility. They incorporate practices like recycling and reusing parts and plastics. The gaskets on our suitcases are made from TPE, an eco-friendly and compostable material, as opposed to the commonly used, harmful PVC. Additionally, our high-performance wheels are produced in-house to meet our stringent standards.

We work exclusively with factories that uphold our values regarding quality, materials, and ethical working conditions. These partners maintain an SA8000 Certification, reflecting their adherence to internationally recognized standards of fair labor. Regular visits and close collaborations with our partners help us continually improve the sustainability and quality of our products.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, all our products are vegan and always will be. What looks like leather on our luggage stripe is actually coated canvas. This material is specially treated to be durable and water-resistant, offering a luxurious look and feel without using any animal products. Coated canvas is also more sustainable and easier to recycle, making it a better choice for environmentally conscious travelers.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

How long do I have to return my suitcase?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

What condition does it need to be in?

Your Armoir must be unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging. Don’t forget to include everything it came with — dust bags, straps, tags, pouches. If these aren’t returned, their value will be deducted from your refund.

How much does a return cost?
  • Europe: A 10% fee of your item’s value is deducted from your refund.
  • US, UK, GCC: A flat shipping fee applies, shown at the time of your return request.
Can I exchange my suitcase?

Yes, we offer a one-time free exchange per order, for the same suitcase in another color (depending on availability). You’ll just need to cover the shipping cost.

How will I get my money back?

Refunds go back to your original payment method once we receive and check your return. Expect 5–10 business days for the refund to appear.

Are there any exceptions?

Yes, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Personalized items
  • Bulk orders over 5 units
  • Items not in original condition or packaging

LIFETIME WARRANTY

What is the limited lifetime warranty?

All Armoir luggage comes with a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner.

What is covered under warranty?

Covered under warranty:

  • Cracks or breaks in the shell
  • Wheels, handles, or telescoping handles that become unusable
  • Broken zippers

Not covered under warranty:

  • Cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains, and normal wear and tear, or other cosmetic changes to the appearance of the product that happen during normal use and handling, which do not affect the functionality of the product as luggage
  • Replacement of non-defective parts
  • Damage from intentional abuse, modification, or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use

Details of a warranty claim:
If a part of your luggage is damaged, we will send you a replacement part with installation instructions. If the component cannot be repaired or replaced, we will provide a replacement luggage of equal or greater value. Warranty claims are subject to our discretion, and we reserve the right to decline claims deemed dishonest or fraudulent.
